17 Jul ArmuleK supported by its Africa marketing and support company Strategic Technologies
ArmuleK supported by its Africa marketing and support company Strategic Technologies, a division of CIG, attended the African Security Symposium in Nairobi.
The interest in ArmuleK is spreading across the globe from Europe, Asia, Africa, US and back at the UK but at the same time ArmuleK has sought to understand the differing situations in many and various countries.
A constant message at this and recent conferences, was the importance of borders, not as a blunt instrument to keep people out but as a way of defining ‘Country’. The underlying requirement being to manage a border. The definition of a ‘border’ can be as easy and simple as marker posts in the ground, the more difficult definition being the management of who comes and who goes which defines the nature and future of a country.
Attending a gathering such as the Africa Security Symposium was helpful in both understanding the similarity of all sovereign nation seeking to maintain their individuality touched by the differences based on history and context. Real experience from political persons historic and current and the various NGO’s and active and retired military were able to set out some of the key African issues, issues not particularly or regularly aired in Europe was hugely valuable.
Interest in ArmuleK products and concept was unexpectedly high as it became clear ArmuleK had total solutions to assist in the definition and management of borders and perimeters. Interest was also shown in other ArmuleK product which provides covert assistance in defending persons, equipment and buildings in situations and locations where there is a risk from ballistic or explosive attack.
